Fields is located in the hamlet of Trewartha between the picturesque rural village of Veryan and the quintessential Cornish harbour village of Portloe. Situated in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula, Veryan with its unusual Roundhouses has a convenience store and a pub, whilst Portloe still has an active fishing fleet. This is big walking country and there is easy access to the coastal footpath with some dramatic walks around Nare Head, Portloe and the Dodman which is slightly further away. For those looking for a great beach, Carne beach with its long expanse of sand is only a mile away and was recently voted one of National Geographic's top ten beaches in the world. The renowned Nare Hotel is perched above the beach and offers some great dining experiences. |
