The cottage is Grade II listed and tastefully restored with a blend of modern bathroom and kitchen and cosy living accommodation including a wood burning stove. There is a south facing garden stretching out onto open farmland, with its very own summer house offering lovely views out over fields. Wonderful walking opportunities are available around the cottage where pheasants, hare and deer can often be spotted and the sound of the owls enjoyed.
**Festival lovers, please note Bestival (around 50,000 expected) early August held nearby at Lulworth Castle. ** For a far more low key and family friendly event – Camp Bestival is held in late July at Lulworth Castle. The little sister of Bestival, this one is all about the children. The fireworks finale that lights up Lulworth Castle is a highlight. |
