The South West Coastal Path which passes by the door provides beautiful walks to Hope Cove just a short distance away and Thurlestone Village in the opposite direction. The National Trust Nature Reserve is immediately to the rear of the cottage, and South Milton Ley Nature Reserve (designated a SSSI) a short walk away, both excellent for bird watching.
